Atlantic Fire Fighters are selling tickets on a 2017 Harley-Davidson Road King OR a 2017 RZR 900 Trail (winner choice) in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Tickets are only $20 and are available in all 4 provinces. Draw date is July 13, 2017.
Oak Bay Fire Fighters will be camping on the roof of the St. Stephen Canadian Tire for 24 hours raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
Approximately 50 Fire Departments from across Atlantic Canada will be participating in the annual Easter Fill the Boot Campaign raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
Muscular Dystrophy Canada is delighted to provide a Caregiver Retreat in St. John’s, NL this spring.
Presented by Lawtons Home HealthCare, and with specialist content delivered by our partnering organization Caregivers Nova Scotia, this Retreat will provide unpaid caregivers of persons with neuromuscular disorders an opportunity to relax with peers as well as to learn skills and resources that will aid in their role as caregiver.
The Fredericton Fire Fighters will be hosting their annual Ladder Sit in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada. One Fire Fighter will sit in the bucket 80 feet in the air for apx. 50 hours.
The Oromocto Professional Fire Fighters will be hosting their annual Ladder Sit in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada. One Fire Fighter will sit in a chair 80 feet in the air for apx. 35 hours.
The Westphal Cole Harbour Fire Fighters will be hosting their annual Ladder-a-thon in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada. One Fire Fighter will sit in a bucket 80 feet in the air for 50 hours.
Teams from across Northern New Brunswick will gather on Salmon Boulevard, Campbellton, NB during the Salmon Festival to pull a Fire Truck 100 feet in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
Teams from across central NL will participate in the Fire Truck Pull hosted by the Grand Falls-Windsor Fire Department.
Teams from across Prince Edward Island will gather at Sobey’s (Stratford) to participate in the Fire Truck Pull hosted by the East River and Cross Roads Fire Departments.
Presented by Lawtons Home HealthCare, we’re excited to host the 4th Atlantic Family Retreat in the Fall of 2017 at the wonderful Camp Brigadoon in Aylesford Lake, NS.
This event focuses on family time and peer support opportunities, ensuring these are the core of the activities chosen for the weekend. Families enjoy favourite outdoor pursuits such as the “Big Canoe”, fishing dockside, and camp fires each night.
