St. Albert Fire Fighter Rooftop Campout
To show their support for people with neuromuscular disorders, St. Albert Fire Fighters are organizing their 2nd annual Rooftop Campout to raise awareness and funds to help ‘make muscles move’. Last year this event raised an amazing $35,826.05 in St. Albert.
A Rooftop Campout is a fundraising event where local Fire Fighters camp on the roof of a building, enduring below freezing temperatures, inclement weather, and whatever else nature throws their way, and collect donations from the public to support Muscular Dystrophy Canada. The money raised by St. Albert Fire Fighters will help to improve the quality of life for people with neuromuscular disorders by purchasing mobility equipment, providing support services, and funding research, which will one day lead to a cure.
