Purpose

The purpose of the BC/Yukon Fire Fighter's Helping Hand Bursary is to provide financial assistance to a student in need, who wishes to pursue ongoing post secondary education of training.

Use of the scholarship

The scholarship will be awarded to a student for payment of tuition and other school expenses, necessary to ensure the student's success.

Accountability

As a condition of acceptance, the Bursary recipient will agree to submit proof of enrollment and commencement of studies within one year of the awarding of the Bursary. Failure to supply proof of enrollment may result in the recipient being asked to return bursary funding.
