Ride for Doug

The 11th annual Ride For Doug is on June 4, 2017

This is a 3-4 hour ride that tours some of the Lower Mainland’s nicest motorcycling roads. The ride is followed by a delicious BBQ dinner. This ride is suitable for riders of all abilities and styles of bikes. It will be starting and ending in the parking lot of the South Langley Church (20098 22nd Ave, Langley).

Registration for the ride will be $20 – but this fee is waived if you arrive with $50 or more in donations from your friends, family, co-workers, or riding buddies. All funds not collected online will be collected on the ride day. The BBQ is included for all riders and their passengers, and is by donation for everyone else. Pre-registration is greatly appreciated so that food and rest stops can be planned. Online pre-Registration IS AVAILABLE NOW.

This ride is raising funds and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy. All proceeds are donated directly to Muscular Dystrophy Canada. There will be prizes for the top fundraising riders! Donations above $20 are eligible for tax receipts from Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Please use Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s online donation system to track your fundraising.

Ironman for Muscular Dystrophy
Jul 30 all-day


Stephen Sanderson will be using all of his muscles to support people living with muscular dystrophy! Stephen will be competing in the Whistler Ironman on July 30th, 2017 completing a 3.9km swim, 180km bike ride, and finishing the 42.2km run in FULL FIRE FIGHTER GEAR! Ironman’s are one of the most physically challenging competitions in the world that require months upon months of training, strap on an extra 45lb pounds and now you have a real challenge! Stephen is swimming, cycling and running for those who can’t!

Rumbling the Road for Muscular Dystrophy

With starting points in Winnipeg and Steinbach Manitoba riders will once again rumble the highways on motorcycles, in muscle cars, and more! All in support of raising funds and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy Canada – Manitoba Chapter. The riders will all meet in Morden MB for a wrap up BBQ hosted by Morden Fire Fighters. This year’s ride is in memory of Joshua “Squirt” Desender – an incredible young man who we lost too soon.

New this year we are excited to have pre and post events happening.
