Fundraising and awareness building are two huge roles that Fire Fighters play in support of those affected by neuromuscular disorders.

Fire Fighter Events in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada happen throughout the year from coast to coast.

Westphal Cole Harbour Fire Fighters Association Don Crook Memorial Ladder-a-thon
Jun 22 – Jun 24 all-day

Join the Westphal Cole Harbour Fire Fighters in their 29th year of organizing their annual Ladder-a-thon in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada. For 50 hours, A Fire Fighter will sit in a bucket 100 feet in the air while Fire Fighters and Volunteers below are collecting funds in their boots.

Northern New Brunswick Fire Truck Pull

Fire Fighters and corporate supporters from northern New Brunswick will be competing to see which team of 8 can pull a 35,000 lb fire truck a 100 feet the fastest. This event takes place during the Salmon Festival.
