For 24 years, Fire Fighter Ladder sits have played a big part to raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Fire Fighters brave the elements and sit in a bucket/chair for 24-50 hours raising awareness and funds to help families across the country affected by neuromuscular disorders. During the Ladder sit, Fire Fighters collect donations from the community, sponsorship from local business, and dignitaries and involve local media and social media to get the word out about neuromuscular disorders.
