There is no charge to register with Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
Registration Criteria
To be eligible for service registration with Muscular Dystrophy Canada you must have a confirmed diagnosis of a neuromuscular disorder under the Muscular Dystrophy Canada umbrella, and be a Canadian citizen, landed immigrant, or refugee resident in Canada. All information will remain confidential.
Registering with Muscular Dystrophy Canada entitles you to:
- have access to the Equipment Loan program and apply for funding for applicable medical equipment
- find out about national and regional conferences concerning various topics of interest
- get referrals to clinics and community programs
- receive copies of Connections, the national newsletter of Muscular Dystrophy Canada, which features information on a variety of neuromuscular disorders, research and parenting tips
- receive copies of the appropriate regional newletter
- the opportunity to join your local Muscular Dystrophy Canada Chapter for additional support and networking
