Volunteer as a Presenter

The MuscleFacts program relies on volunteers as a vital part of the presentation teams. We welcome new volunteers at any time.

Who can volunteer?

Anyone can volunteer to help out. Current volunteer presenters include:

  • People with physical disabilities, all ages
  • Family or friends of people with physical disabilities
  • Health professionals
  • Educators

MuscleFacts Volunteer Position Description

Presenters will lead activities, educate, and answer questions about neuromuscular disorders and physical disabilities in schools and in classrooms. The target audience may be children, youth, educators, etc, with varying group sizes. Guidance, supplies and activities for presentations will be provided by the MuscleFacts Coordinator.
