Fire Fighter Campout for Muscular Dystrophy
Fire Fighters in Western Canada are now holding their annual Fire Fighter Rooftop Campouts! Since 2005, when a handful of Edmonton Fire Fighters decided that they needed a winter camping trip, to the rooftop of their fire station, this fundraising event in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada has been expanding across the country!
The Rooftop Campout is a fundraising event in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada where local Fire Fighters camp on the rooftop of a building, braving the elements to raise awareness and funds to help families across the country affected by neuromuscular disorders. During the three day campout, Fire Fighters collect donations from the community, host local celebrities and dignitaries and involve local media to get the word out about neuromuscular disorders.
The community has always been very supportive of the work our heroes tirelessly undertake to support Muscular Dystrophy Canada, and now these Fire Fighters are relying on your gift to make this endeavor their biggest success yet!
