Winnipeg Fire Fighter Campout

Four Winnipeg Fire Fighters are taking to the roof from February 22nd to 25th for their 2nd Annual Rooftop Campout to raise funds and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.  Fire Fighters will spend the entire time on the roof of 4 Station, located at 150 Osborne Street.

“We want to thank the community for their support last year.  Last year this event raised $26,000 and this year we have set our goal at $30,000.  I am proud of the dedication that our Fire Fighters show to this worthy cause” says Rob Labossiere, a Winnipeg Fire Fighter helping to organize the campout.

Fire Fighter TJ Belluk, one of the campers, echoes Rob’s comments saying, “Providing support to Muscular Dystrophy Canada is something that our Fire Fighters take a lot of pride in. The rooftop campout is just one of many events our members are actively involved in to help raise funds and find a cure for neuromuscular diseases.”
